AT this OCt filers can see approval in December month assuming the impossible that PDs don\'t retrogess!!!!!!!!!......
My consevative estimates are now far too aggresive. With retrogessed PDs Oct filers are a cursed lot!!!!!!!!. A typical Oct filer with PD in 2000 will be delayed by 7-8 months.
I know there are group of daydreamers who can\'t digest bad news and they would start swearing at me( what they saw their parents doing), but this is surely going to happen and this posting is for those mature truth digesting individuals who are prepared for any eventuality like me.

august and sept. have less applicants compared to July ........
infact Sept. has a fewer applicants due to the Anthrax outrage ...

so my GUESS (yes a guess ...pure guess) is that once you see mainstream aug. approvals then sept/oct RDs are not far away ..

please feel free to challenge this guestimate !!

INS has indicated that PD\'s will remain current for 02 i.e till Sept\'2002. After that INS will release new information. Maybe PD\'s will retrogress or may be not. But, looking at the present trend of slow approvals, no way the EB quota is getting used up. So low chances that PD will retrogress. This is my opinion.
 
This is what Murthy predicts.

PD\'s might not retrogress if the approval rate is slow as per Murthy chat transcripts.
 
And I was the one I asked the question

but did not ask what effect of rollovers would be. and attorneys say that means a retrogess is sure to happen. See other discussion for more details( discussion on when can Oct cases be assigned)
 
but my lawyer said she is sure that there is NO retrogress.

may be your lawyers is smarter than mine. How about we make a bet.

Attorney Murthy : There is always a chance that could happen, though the slow pace at which INS is processing I-485s again may result in the PDs not retrogressing as quickly. So there is a silver lining to the slow processing by the INS! :-)

Do you know what month EB2 will retrogressed to?

Is there a certain quota of EB2 approvals a year, EB3 a year?
Are they separate?

Seems most July cases are EB3, so maybe EB3 will be retrogressed if the quota is used up. It could happen because of the big volume of EB3.

Everything is unpredictable. INS may be demolished even. So we can only wait and see.
 
Well ppl, always think negative and prepare for the worst.

This way atleast you will have a chance for preventive or corrective necessery action. Now though I am April, 2002 filers, I am taking this notice seriously and planning for future steps. I will start looking for job in september/october (180 days over) and once I get a offer, I will ask my employer for huge raise. if not happen, quit.

** I know some fu**** moron like pateinceGC will start looking for spell mistake.. but for other ppl, always prepare for the worst, you will not surprised.
 
Habib you will get what you want....

Reason is simple:
"Chance favours the prepared minds" and "Assumption is mother of all f-ups".
With Habib way of working nobody can fail and so I am telling you guys about these PDs retrogessing so that you can prepare for worsts.
As for some like patienceGC scum he has assumed that he will be suucessful and is not prepared at all. And above all uses f words to describe truth speaking people, who just wanna prepare for worst. Well patienceGC you are going to fall flat on your face and then you will remember me.
