NVC stands for national visa center which is responsible for processing other types of immigrant visas other than DV. CEAC is a portal used for all types of visas so, when it says "at NVC", this basically means that the file is at the processing center which, for DV cases, is KCC. You won't receive anything from NVC because you are a DV applicant and you will only hear from KCC - not NVC - when your interview is scheduled after your case becomes current and your forms are done processing. The instructions you need to follow are those which are available at http://www.dvselectee.state.gov/. So, to sum up, don't worry about that message. It mainly refers to other visa categories that are processed at NVC, and not DV. But if you lost your email account, make sure you keep checking the entrant status check page https://www.dvlottery.state.gov/ESC/(S(mjx3jdipmtmwzzoxox5hd5oy))/Secure/StatusCheck.aspx after your case becomes current because this is the only way you will get your 2NL.

thank you very much ..............your answer is a big relief for me .............i was really terrified by this message

OK - so the "at NVC" message is new. It is useful because I think it will give us more information for real cases that have not finished processing. So we can probably get some info about holes etc from that - I'm just adjusting the scraper to cope with these new examples.

Exactly my thought Simon! Can't wait to see the first CEAC file to get an idea of how DV2015 is going so far.

Also - they are including these NVC rows way beyond the VB max cases!!!!

Probably represents people that have submitted the forms - which is great - we didn't have anything before when the cases were not current!

I get "at NVC' status as well. CN current in Dec but forms still processing due to late submission (Aug). This confirms what you write in your blog Simon.
