It was very exciting to see the magical words appear, while checking the online case status. On Friday evening, both mine and my wife's statuses were changed to APPROVED. :D
Good luck to all of you who are waiting long. You will realize that it is worth the wait.

Enjoy!! So far the month of September seems to coming along fine as far as Rupnet goes. Now if only the processing window grows and cover 2003...
 
Passport stamped for Greencard

Yesterday I got the approval notice for me and my wife. I went to the USCIS site and got Infopass appointment for this morning. We went and submitted the Infopass app letter. In couple of minutes, an officer called us and took our passports, 485 approval notices, 2 frontal photos of each, all EADs and APs. After 5 minutes, another officer called us in and took finger print and signatures. She gave us our passports with Greencard stamp, which is valid for one year till the plastic card comes. She kept all other documents with her.
It was quick and a great feeling after we come out of the INS office. Thanks to all who give valuable information in this site and wish everyone gets lucky soon.
