hi
can the asylum applicant work after 150 days from sending the asylum application?
or I should get the EAD? on the USCIS website they say you can work without the EAD.
what do you think?

150 after the interview. You cant work with an EAD and your lawyer, if you have one, must ask uscis for it.

sorry but your reply wasn't clear enough.

what do you mean?

the following is taken from USCIS:

Permission to Work in the United States

You cannot apply for permission to work (employment authorization) in the United States at the same time you apply for asylum.

You may apply for employment authorization if:

150 days have passed since you filed your complete asylum application, excluding any delays caused by you (such as a request to reschedule your interview) AND
No decision has been made on your application

If you are granted asylum you may work immediately. Some asylees choose to obtain Employment Authorization Documents (EADs) for convenience or identification purposes, but an EAD is not necessary to work if you are an asylee.

You need to apply for Work authorization (EAD) after 150 days you applied asylum. No body is going to hire you legally unless you have EAD card.
