Asylum Seekers and working for public school

Can I be employed full time at a public school (California State University) when I get my EAD?
Is there any regulation regarding hiring asylum seekers at schools?

No, I don't think so. They treat it like a EAD GC so you can work anywhere you want.
And mostly, they don't know or bother to check the category of the EAD.
They simple everify if you can work or not, and get a positive flag then you are all set.
