Hi to everybody my name is Amer and I had my interview on the 2nd of May 2011. I'm still waiting for the respond I heard that if took long time for them to respond that means they are denying your application? is that true. Secondly, I'm an International student studying in San Diego, but i can't afford to pay for the fall tuition. My question is do I have to keep my International student for me to get the result? and what would happen to me if the school cancelled my I-20 would they deport me?

Thanks

Delaying is nothing to do with predicting the results. Nobody knows what is going on inside the Asylum Office.
Remaining in good valid f-1 students gives you one thing: if they deny your application, you won't be out of status or deported. You will keep having F-1 student and can seek some different options.
If you drop your classes and become out of status, and if they intend to deny your application, then you might face deportation through referring your case to immigration judge, unless you convince the judge and get approval.

the only problem is you will not get results until you will be out of status. AO will hold decision bcs you have valid F-1 student status. I had same problem, as soon as I graduated I got interview and in a 2 weeks I got decision.
