Asylum interview

Hi everyone I applied asylum on sep 20 2015 from New York . I got work permit n social . But I am still waiting for interview .it is not notified by immigration . I am Very sad . Some one says who got interview Date during this period . Help me plz. Thanks

New York is interviewing right now people who applied back in August 2014. So, I might say that you might have to wait at least 6 months for your interview. But again, this a broad estimate, only God knows how quickly things will advance.

Some of us have been for 3+ years. So, my advice is to continue to live on until you get called for your interview.

I have been waiting since Sep13 and haven't got interview yet.
