asylum in legal status

I am now in my home country without taking permission from asylum office because there was an emergency at my home front. My asylum case is still pending. I have still valid B2 visa. Can I enter again ti US or is there any problem while entering. Can I ask for asylum at the point of entry if the immigration officer restrict me to enter in US? Any can give me good suggestion.

Do you have a B2 visa with multiple entries? If you enter before the visa expiry date, you might be able to get in. If the IO finds out that you left w/o permission while your asylum is pending, it's very hard for you to convince them.

I applied asylum in my 4th legal entry. Asylum officer told me to collect my result after 14 days but I am still waiting for my result after five months. I think that the officer has locked my case because he has sent my case for security check. Can any one tell me that how long do I have to wait for my case , if my case has been sent to security check.

Case 1: a lady went for her asylum interview in VA and was told by the IO that the decision would be mailed to her. Then the interpreter asked the IO why it'd be mailed. The IO said that the lady was still on legal status. The lady received the interview decision after her B2 visa expired and was referred to the immigration court.

Case 2: A lady went to her asylum interview and was detained by the ICE cops after the interview. Before applying for the asylum, she was arrested by the police while selling counterfeit goods and then released. She didn't get the court notice and failed to appear at the court. Thus a warrant was placed on her. When she showed up for the interview, the IO found out. So I think the security check should be done before the interview when they have the applicants' finger print in the system.
