Asylum, I-102

Hi guys!
I wrote on this forum some time ago about my situation. I got asylum approval, but they messed up with my mailing address and I never got I-94 form. Now I have applied for I-94 replacement (form I-102) and enclosed the letter stating that it was not my fault that I didn't get I-94 cards in the mail and asked to waive application fee for me and my husband.
My application didn't come back, but I didn't get any confirmation from USCIS that they are working on my case. I don't know if they waived an application fee or just threw the application away and I should re-apply.
Do you know how I can find out? Are they supposed to send any confirmation in case they accepted an application?

Thank you!

The best way to do this is include a fee and write a letter with it stating why they should not cash it. Happened to me once when they took away my RTD by their own fault, they reissued one without using the check.

So I would recommend you to include a check and if they do cash it..grin and bare it because you will get I-94 faster that way.
