Asylum granted DV2022 Winner EU2xxx

Hello Sm1smom and friends,

I am a granted Asylee in the US. My application asylum application was excepted in July 2020. I recently had family reunification with my family. They arrived in the US in March of this year.
My wife's DV 2022 application (2xxx) was selected. The question I have is, can we, as a whole family, get the GC through the DV lottery, not through asylum application? If so, is my process is different than the normal DV lottery winner's process? Do I need to take any action on my asylum application?

I really appreciate any guidance you can provide.

If you and your family have been granted status in the US, that makes you eligible to file a DV based AOS application should you decide to proceed with your DV selection. The process is the same as with other DV selectees processing AOS. I cannot guide you on what to do with asylum one, the guidance I provide here is limited to DV based processing only.
