asylum case questions

Hi everybody,

i found this website while looking for information about my asylum case, I think its a great idea that people helping each other and sharing their experiences,

I hope someone can help me here, I'v Applied for an asylum based on political opinion, membership in a particular social group (reefers to me being a journalist) and religion, I was interviewed on April 6, got a recommended approval on April 9, which to my believe was really fast, any how since then I haven't heard anything about my status, I've mailed the USCIS office where I was interviewed, but still no answer, does any one know how long does it take to grant my application, they say it's 180 month but it has been more than that, and please just wanna make sure that recommended approval will be granted, I heard that usually they are, I have no criminal recorded no matter what and my security background is clear.

You are very lucky to receive a recommended approval so fast. Some people have been waiting for months and years to get the initial decision. Your case got stuck in the background check (name check). God only knows how long the name check process takes. It might be months or years.

Ya U r Very Lucky ........ 99.9% PPL who got recommended Approval They got Granted Approved Toooooooooo After some time ,................. U r Good To go Good Luck
 
thanks guys,
i know i was lucky, my lawyer told me so to, maybe becuase i'm a journalist and my name was all over the web with all the stories i wrote made them approve me faster, but i was wondering what is the approximate time to get granted, after what i read I guess there no such thing as a time frame
