asylum based on spouse

My spouse is an asylee. I am already in US and I applied for asylum based on fact that both of us are from some country and my spouse is an asylee . If I go back to my country I will be killed so I filed for asylum.

Has anyone been in this situation? Wanted to share with community that has helped me in so many ways over the years and get some feedback.

Hello. I have just seen your post. Very first thing you may consider either applying as derivative asylee from her case which in this case you do not need to prove any kind of fear.
By the way it has been long time since you posted this. What is your current situation?
