Dear friends,

Today I received approval for my asylum, I am so happy that words can not explain.
My case was pending since August 2013 and I did my interview on Sep 2013 in Chicago asylum office.
for those of you waiting for your decision I hope you receive you approval soon, hang in there guys!!!
I really needed this I was going crazy! everyday I was desperately checking mailbox looking for this letter I finally received today.
I learned a lot from this forum, may god bless you all.
 
I am happy for you. It must be such a relief. Did they just directly approve it? I was sent a NOID :(

I have asylum case pending since 2008 no decision interview has been done since 2007.
I recently file writ of mandamus at federal court to force USCIS to make decision.
Yesterday I got NOA finger printing wich I done today.
Does anybody know what is mean?

I do not know what I means in practical, but what is sure is that it looks like your case is finally moving again and that the writ of mandamus had a positive effect.

On this board it seems that people who need to do second finger print notice later post that they received approvals after that process (usually soon too!). So I am excited for you.
