Asylum approval letter

Hi everyone. My asylum was approved recently, but I haven't received an approval notice and i94 yet. A few days ago I received an updated EAD with A05, but still waiting for the approval letter to come, it's been 15 days already. How many days does it take to get approval notice? Can you share your experience, please?

I went through this recently. My asylum was approved by an IJ on 05/31/23, and my I-94 was issued on 06/28/23. It took about 2 days to arrive.

After you got your I-94, you can go to the SSA to update your SSN card to remove any restrictions. The catch is that the SSA does not take the physical I-94 for confirmation but waits electronically for my record to be updated by USCIS. I didn't know and went the next day after receiving my I-94. I ended up waiting for 3 more weeks for the electronic data to be sent to the SSA.
