Asylum Appeal Dismissed by the Board of Immigration Appeals

My asylum application was denied and I appealed to the Board of Immigration Appeals. I kept checking the status of my case over the phone. For long time, it didn't say anything. Since April, it says your case has been dismissed. What does it mean. I thought I will receive some kind of notice. But nothing. Not even deportation/removal notice. What am I supposed to do now? Please help. Thanks in advance.

I think it means that you have lost your appeal. I will suggest you speak with an experience attorney at this time considering that the BIA is almost if nor mistaken your last bus stop on all kinds of immigration appeal.

That is why a experienced attorney is VERY important in even slam dunk asylum cases unlike family based petitions where a attorney is a total waste of money.
I think it's too little too late to hire a attorney at this point.
