Asylum and Immigration to Canada

hey guys! this asylum adjustment process sucks big time and take too long.

suppose someone get immigration for canada. He/she lands in canada and comes back to america whenever that adjustment interview is called for. Or come back to america right away in addition to having that canadian immigration. How would INS know about it?
Any thoughts?

If you did that, they probably would deny the adjustment request and terminate asylum status. Sorry.

I filed in nebraska service center.. thats where all the asylees file for I-485.

I filed in Oct. 2000. Havent heard anything yet. I think I am going to hear something in the year 2004.

I filed in oct 1999, is that mean my turn will be sometime next year?

Check the discussion in the subject line posted in this same portal. You will find a timeframe announced by INS, that will help you to have a better understanding of when your application will be processed.
