I got removal order (because denied asylum application from a judge) back in 1999 I appealed it, while the appeal is pending I went back home for emergency without permission (MY FATHER TOOK ILL AND PASSED AWAY) .. while I am in my home country I got married and I came back on B2 visa with my wife and my wife granted asylum, after that I got approved I- 730 and I currently has derivative asylum status . my appeal for my original asylum case got denied and a reopen dismissed too. Based in the fact that I left the country without permission I applied for the green card after one year from I have been approved the I-730. Now I am expecting the interview within few month
I wonder what applications I need to file in the interview in order to get a relief from the removal order. If there is any . and if it is good move to attend the interview or there is big chances that I will be removed.or should i get the green card approved without even an interview like what happen to my wife.
Any similar or related information’s about this situation will be deeply appreciated since no one I know off had any thing like that even the attorneys not sure what the right thing to do (of course after charging me a lot of money)?
Thanks alot for any help i can get.

In light of your convoluted immigration history you need a lawyer to represent you.

Let me get this straight: you are a derivative asylee, but you also have an old removal order against you? In a sane world, you new status would prevail but here you might get thrown in detention first.

Why are you expecting an interview? Did you get a letter? I'd suggest don't worry about it until you get an interview, but then take a lawyer with you.

And carry a copy of the I-730 approval with you at all time; it would be a shame to get picked up by the cops for some random reason and have them dig up the removal order but not the subsequent approval.

Thanks Floyed for your input.
I did my FP and medical test four month ago and they transfer my case to Texas service center too. That is why I expect an interview or some other decision in my case soon. and I want to be prepared for the worst . I had an attorney but you know my friend even attorney doesn’t know it all.
Thanks Againe.
