asylee status

As I remember, by some laws, USCIS has responsibility to keep the status of asylee in secret. But they put AS6 code on GC, everybody can decode that AS6 is an asylee. That means they public the private of asylees. Please comment.

They are inviting another lawsuit if someone has time, energy and money for this undertaking. :cool:
 
According to their internal memo, yes, they should not release the info to your home country's consulate or other government agency. But, if you show your home country your green card, which you do not have to, it is not their problem.

The thinking is asylee should never go back to his home country...He ran away from it..so if you sue, its most likely you will be found in fraud.
 
They did not send a copy of your green card to anybody. You are the one who displays it to whoever.
