I was granted asylum status last year and received 8 months of medicare.

now I am diagnosed with renal kidney stones in my stomach and I need help to get it cured by a doctor. I had terrible pain last night and went to a private big hospital as emergency and got checkec up there. I was given pain killer and did CT scan and was told that i do have two small stones near my kidney and bladder and thats the reasons you have severe stomach pain.

I was later released and was told I need to see a urologist to cure the stones but I don't have health insurance , nor good income.
I also told the hospital where i went for check up that i dont have health inusrance, nor a job but they didn't refuse me service. but i fear they will sonn bill me thusands of dollars for this check up.

Now am worried about how i should see a urologist and the cost of this treatment.

Will any hospital give me treatment because I got no insurance or a job?
or should I not get treated for fear of high medical bills?

should I go to some department to ask for some state or federal medical help?

will I be eligible to apply for private insurance due to this stones in my stomach?

or should I go to like india and get medical treatment there because it will me much cheaper there?

You can apply for Medicaid. Atleast here in New York City, if you do not qualify for Medicaid, you could qualify for low cost health insurance. Also you may want to talk with the finance department of the hospital and they could work with you as far as payments is concerned and you could get treated. Private doctors will be expensive and they require payment before treatment.
