:) Hello guys, G here. So i am an asylee, i lost my i94 when i moved to my new place. I had applied for a i94 replacement in NOV 2013. I attached a written letter saying that i was applying for a i94 with a asylee status ( the one you get after your asylum is approved) as well as a photo copy of the i94 card. I kept receiving the i94 with my visa status, i called them back and explained the situation to a few immigration officers but i kept getting the same i94 back. Every time i called them about the issue i was told to call the Custom and Border to get a replacement and they would tell me to deal with USCIS since they had no jurisdiction over this matter. I called the USCIS and asked them to resolve the situation, after them sending the wrong i94 the third time, the USCIS sent me a letter asking me to make an appointment with a USCIS officer. I spoke to the immigration officer today here in NY, I was told to go to the ASYLUM office where my case was approved to get a replacement. I was in disbelief so i called the asylum office and spoke to a supervisor, who told me that they would only give me a replacement if the initial i94 had a mistake and that i had to deal with USCIS on this matter.
:mad:I came back to the immigration office and told the officer what had happened, she called her supervisor and relayed the msg. I had to wait for an hr because the supervisor had to make a few phone calls. I was told that because the case was approved by the asylum office and not the court they couldn't give me a replacement. So what she did was sent her superiors a brief email on what happened and she advised me to write a letter about this situation to the USCIS office. Guys i need help on who do i write the letter to or if any of you have been in this situation and know what i should do next please help. I would really appreciate that.
The officer asked me to wait for another 6 weeks and if i don't hear from them, that i need to make another appointment to come see her......:( I haven't applied for a green card yet, I lost my ss and i94. I found a good paying job who asked me for a org. copy of ss, i went to the ss office they asked me for my i94.:(

God Bless,
G
