ASO While in USA on B2 visa

I have come to USA on B1/B2 visa and my daughter is US citizen. Now they want me to apply for Green card. Can I,or should I apply as ASP.It is within law to apply for Green card while you are in US on B2 visa

You mean AOS? (Adjustment of Status) ... Yes you can do that while you are here on B1/B2 visa.
