I'm on H1B visa & my wife is a US Citizen.
We got married RELIGIOUSLY in India. It was not a CIVIL/COURT marriage & we did not get any Printed marriage license. I came to US back on my H1b & my wife on her US passport. Then we did the CIVIL marriage in Las Vegas & got a Marriage license.
Using this LV marriage license, i applied for GC in Mar, 04 & got EAD/AP in May, 04. The marriage license was also used for changing wife's last name on Documents, Joint Bank/CC accounts etc.
Question: At the GC interview, INS officer sometimes ask for PICTUREs of marriage ?? We've a huge album of pictures from my Indian Religious marriage. We don't have any pictures from the Las Vegas marriage as it was in County Clerk's office performed by Commissioner of Civil Marriages.
Now, if i show the pictures from religious marriage, the INS officer may OBJECT.
Now i'm wondering WHAT SHOULD I TELL ABOUT OUR MARRIAGE DATE + PICTUREs once we get to the Interview ???
