Ask For Senator's Help Sometimes Work..

Just an advice to all the people waiting for AOS approval.
I FINALLY had good news regarding the status of my AOS and that is ONLY because I called my senator's office who promptly contacted the BCIS office and received an answer ( I contacted the office myself several times but my efforts were vain..);
I am really happy, within 30 days I will receive an approval notice..:D :D :D
 
Congratulation. That is because the BCIS has to reply to the senator right away. But when it comes to us they give us the run around.

I just told him my situation, how long I was waiting for an answer and that I never had a reply fron BCIS despite 2 letters and 2 electronic inquires through the Customer Service.
1 week after I wrote the senator I had an answer.

How do you determine, who is the Senator in your area. I am based in San Jose, CA?
