Asia case number cut off

May be due to less no of winners in Asia than Africa
By the way in what range is your case number (CN)

well my case is 17*** and after December visa bulletin confused:confused: when do u think my case number will be current.???

See the past years cut off numbers . Suppose this year last numbers become current by May 2010

It seems like the number of winners from asia is increasing yearly. Anyways, I do not quite comprehend what "current" means? does that mean all CNs are current at those numbers? Eg: From July-September in 2009 all winners were current?

Hi,

The cut-off of August for Asia is 39750, and "Current" for September. Based on your reply, if a selectee of FY-2011 with a CN 39751 still has the chance to be interviewed? I am getting confused about what "cut-off" means.
 
some people say the Cut-off numbers will shift (be higer this year than in the past) because they will not enclod the 22k numbers for those who won in May. so far, i have been looking to see winners with low numbers (like less than Af0001XXXX or less than 3000 in Asia) but i havent seen any yet wich support the assumbtion some say about not using the 22k numbers in the new DV winners selection.

In other words CN EU27*** is actually CN EU23*** or something like that. Good to know.
 
Realtalk, 400 from which region?? if its from AS or AF, then that assumption is wrong. but if that CN from NORTH AMERICA then it doesnt really matter.

can you explain why low CNs from North America doesn't matter in your assumption? If your assumption were true, then shouldn't all new 2012 numbers start from 23k, regardless of region (which appears not be the case based on some of the low cn's we're seeing).

Hi xrj,
Since you have not decided whether to do AOS or CP, why did you sent those forms and photos to KCC? What did you put on the form regarding the processing options? I am in same situation with high case number. Have not decided yet what to do? called KCC, told me that we can adjust between AOS and CP.
