Dear LucyMo,

I finally arrive the U.S yesterday evening. Before we landed in Chicago airport - KLM airline gave us a blue form to fill, which we all did. At arrival at the airport, immigration collected the package the America embassy gave me, took my finger prints and x-ray (they return the x-ray film). I was then told that the will mail me my green card in a week. the whole thing lasted for about 10 minutes maximum. Monday I will go and get my social security form so as to get my number. That's all for now.
 
it will be pretty useless to go to SSA office on Monday. Wait for at least a week for your record to appear in their database.

Just wanted to let you know that it was okay to go register for the social security as soon as you arrive the States, I did that and I have my social security number now. Once again tanx for all your help and you're doing a good job.
