Arrest in 2001 - Will this be a problem?

I had been arrested in 2001 for shoplifting and the case was dismissed upon paying 50$ as fine to court.
I just reviewed the OCIForm. 23rd question asks about Details of criminal proceedings against the applicant(s) if any, anywhere.

So it says anywhere I believe I should disclose this.

Is this will be a problem? I just recently got my citizenship. Please help.

Anyone gone through this issue.

Please help.

Is there any one who can advice me please?

I can't speak from experience of this nature: if a $50 fine was sufficient to get the case dismissed, I would think it should not result in denial of OCI (especially since you already got US citizenship after this incident - I am assuming you disclosed it for that application). Explain the situation honestly and clearly in the space provided in the OCI form part B and send it in. Good luck.

Thanks. I have not filled any form yet. I was waiting for one of your responses. I have not pleaded guilty, court ordered me to pay $50 fine and the case was dismissed.
I am planning to sent the certified copy of court document and the cover letter with the Part B form.

For N-400 I did the same, I have sent certified copy of the court document and the cover letter.

Hopefully everything will go smooth. If any one of you going this problem please advice.

Thanks
