Arrest, case dismissed, not guilty charge for parents - Will it create a problem?

Hello,

I have applied for immigration for my parents and we are now in the the 230 stage which I am about to send off. My dad was arrested in India in 2004 on a trumped up charge and there was an arrest warrant out for my mom, though she was not arrested and she got bail. Case against both went to court - criminal and consumer, and both cases got thrown out by the judges with a clear written statement that there is no proof and no basis for any arrest. Obviously, we have all the information, parents have obtained the statements from the judges and all the police certificates, and it will be listed on the 230 Part 2 when they will be called for the interviews. Will this create an issue for them? I want to make sure they will not face any problems.

Normally no unless the charge relates to moral terpitude. It really depends on the charge. Still the fact that the charges were thrown out should go a long way.
