Arlington VA office ...Does it help to visit ..

I applied for citizenship a year ago. Did FP and waiting for interview letter. Does it help to visit the Arlington office to enquire about the status of my app? Any one has experience in this? Thanks
 
Interview notice

I have also not received my interview notice yet. My detail is as follows:
Priority Date: 07/2003
FP Date:09/2003
I don't think visit to Arlington office will help.
