THAT YOUR JOB WOULD BE MOVING BACK TO INDIA. YOU HAVE SPENT AN AVERAGE OF 6 YRS HERE IN THE US JUST TO GET YOUR GREEN CARD BECAUSE AFTER ALL YOU THINK, ITS THE LAND OF MILK AND HONEY OR JOB OPPORTUNITIES IN THE IT FIELD!!!!!!

AND NOW, ITS ON THE BRINK OF OUTSOURCING...

ITS IRONIC ISNT IT?

I WOULD FU****** HATE IT IF I WOULD GO BACK TO IN*** AGAIN BECAUSE THERE ARE LESS JOBS HERE FOR IT PROS.

To be frank, I'm worried. In the future, any kind of job opportunities, not just IT jobs will be globally shared. Even worse, I hate the US immigration process and the discrimination practiced in the name of anti-terrorism.
 
relax guys ..

offshoring is good as especially for an Indian in the US it's a blessing. The enitre IT Industry in India is just a fraction of the IT industry in the US. Don't want to go in a discussion at the moment .. but if you are competent you have nothing to worry about. Having said that it doesn't mean that outsourcing won't ever affect you. Its a change from the way things were done earlier and changes always come with oppurtunities. You just have to look for them.
 
I am worried too, but on the bright side the jobs are outsourced to India and that is my home country.

As much as I would hate to have to go back to India, I think that atleast I am lucky that I will have to go back to India and not to some other country.

What if all the jobs were outsourced to some other country, then you won't be in US and you won't be in India, you will have to find a job somewhere else.

Imagine people in the IT industry from Russia or Japan or other non-Indian countries, if their job is send to India, and they have been given the opportunity that the only way they can keep their job is go to India and work on it there, then it would really suck for them.

So far nobody had considered that point.

Instead of working here in Non_IT /Gas Station/Factory Jobs( if no job available here), I would rather go to India if there is job and here is not,
 
Since this forum is for immigration pupose only, I do not want to discuss outsourcing here..., is there any other fourm where we could post our ideas, opinion and discuss regarding outsoucing...

You should not be worried. Rather come up with some idea. Hire some American as well as Indian guys and start a company. When your company grows to some 200 or 300 outsource some work to India.
 
personally, i'm done with corrupt poli******. ;-) so NO, i would not go back to IN***.

If ever that my job would be outsourced, I guess I would have to adapt.

BTW, Even Americans don't like suck-ups. Makes me remind of the BK ad that is running these days on TV.
