the automated voice changed from "we received your application on ....." to "On Sept. 29 we mail a notice to you ...."
Half month passed neither my lawyer nor my self receive any thing from SC.
I want to know, normally HOW LONG it will take to receive the notice from the day the automated voice change.
Please comments.

How can you check automated message without notice receipt. Because only that have your EAC number. I dont know what are you talking about.

I got my I-485 approved on the 28th of Sept, and the automatic
phone system (APS) said the apporval notice was mailed the same day.
But I am still waiting for it. I believed the damed "mail room"
at VSC screwed up in the last couple of days of September. I called
four times after 28th, and talked to four different IIOs, the first
two are really junks, they are not helping at all, the third one
was a guy, he was reasonable. He told me to give it a bit more time,
and they are in the internal auditing and not supposed to send out
anything , this was monday this week. Then I called Tuesday,
a very nice lady IIO got the call, she promised to reprint a copy
of approval and mail it to me the same day. I checked the APS, and
a duplicate copy was mailed as promised. I am waiting for it.

So my suggestion is to talk to an IIO, and the one who gets the phone
is lousy one, then call sometime later till you find one who
is willing to help.
