I woke up feeling pretty bad. Got drunk last nite..have a bad hangover, almost crashed into an 18 wheeler, then at work I was handed more boring documentation job, my Boss told me I would be getting a paltry 5% raise as opposed to 15 that I was expecting, and to top it off my program does not work and today is the deadline.
Nahh I dont think today is gonna be THE DAY.

I woke up feeling good a week back and nothing hapenned. These days I\'m trying to keep away from this board as seeing approvals from April 2000 is not making my situation any better
Normally I wouldn\'t really bother as a GC is really no big deal for me but I\'m going to India on May 26th and I was hoping to stamp my passports before I left which I think is not going to happen now.
I\'ve convinced my employer to resubmit my RFE response which they are doing today.

I felt good three months ago when I first saw Oct99 cases were approved. It would be my turn pretty soon, I thought...
Anyway, I like Dandan\'s attitude. Soon or later we all going to get that piece of card. Then what? The life will go on. It\'s not going to change my life dramatically.

My PD became current on May 1st and thought it is the day I am waiting for....slowly I am coming to terms with INS ways and saying to myself that no point in getting excited everyday and hang in there, your day will come!

more on Holy Grail and GC ...It will be stamping then plastic then Citizenship then something else ... have fun enjoy the Ride.
Hope to Joy is better than Hope Enjoyed... so it is Ok let GC come when it is to. I will drink to Shef Chang for his thoughts on GC. MahaSangram is so unhappy with 5% raise needs to think of our friends who got pink slips. So take it easy. We gotta just work on bettering our skills...guess everything will follow. Have Fun.

Although getting a green card might not change one\' life, NOT getting one might change it dramatically. Who knows .. maybe even for the better I agree with other posters that in life we will be waiting for some happy event or achievement.
