Are there any approval's who's PD is not current. I am talking about EB-2 and particularly EB-2- NIW. Do you think its possible. My case has been assigned to officer and I got medical RFE which will be submitted in the next week. My PD is Jan 2005 and I am wondering is there any lucky possibility for approval of my case.

Please post your thoughts.

Not an approval, but have received letter

In the context of your question, and for what it's worth -

My PD is not current, but I have received a letter in response to a Service Request:

"Case is awaiting additional review...if you do not receive a decision or other notice of action from us within 60-90 days of this letter..."

This happens very rarely - when a visa number is assigned before retrogression. In your case, since there's a RFE pending, visa number cannot have been assigned because the case cannot have been pre-adjudicated. So you just have to wait for your PD to be current.
