Are parents going to affect citizenship procedure after green card

Hi every body,
I will get my green card (after the asylum visa i got) in 4 months from today.
Because of my job it's really important for me to be a citizen instead of being a greencard holder as soon as possible.
I have a great aunt who is now a USA citizen and she likes to adopt me (I am 25 at the moment).
My question is: is it (having a citizen parents) going to make the 5 yeas after green card to citizen statues a shorter time. (Like for example getting married that reduces this 5 years to 3 years).

I appreciate your help in advance

I don't think your aunt can adopt you at 25. Having citizen parents won't make the process any faster for you. When you get your green card through the asylum process, your green card will have an issue date written on it, you can apply 4 years and 9 months after that date. No other easy way out for you.
3 year rule applies to people who are apply for citizenship based on marriage.

Thanks body,
So as you say it would be better to stop adaptation process though its possible to adopt an adult and its easy and fast.

Once you're over 18, having US citizen parents doesn't reduce the years required for citizenship.

And she can't adopt you under US law anyway. Maybe there is some version of adoption that would give you additional rights when it comes to inheritance and her estate, but there is no immigration benefit whatsoever with adoption at your age.

There are many (in fact, most) states in the U.S. that do allow adult adoption. E.g. in California it is perfectly legal:

However, indeed, there are no immigration benefits to those who were adopted as adults by U.S. citizens.

if you got your greencard through asylum, you will get one year credit, so you will be able to apply for citizenship in 3.9 months........no other way around it........good luck
