Eye glasses are allowed, but they shouldn't be with dark lenses, the lenses should be clear not colored.

Eye glasses allowed or not

This is very strange. I had my interview on Jan. 13, 2005. On Jan. 12, at about 3 PM I received a call. A lady introduced herself that she was the USCIS officer who is going to interview me tomorrow. She further stated that as she was reviewing my case to get herself ready for tomorrow, she noticed that the photos submitted with N-400 application were with eye-glasses. She asked me to bring new photos to the interview without eye-glasses. I am still waiting for my name check to clear. So, I think it is better to leave eye-glasses off to be on a safe side as some Immigration Officer may not know that they are allowed.
