Are all VSC applicants in Newark jurisdiction getting interviews?

An immigration attorney told me that ALL VSC applications who are in the Newark jurisdiction are getting their files transferred to Newark office and getting interview calls.

Is this true? Is this happening to everyone in Newark jurisdiction?

Has anyone recently been approved straight out of VSC without local file transfer?

Nothing yet. It looks like we will be stuck for another couple of months or worse a year.

Case transfer to local service centers happen only to those cases where VSC decides that there is a need to have a face-to-face interview because they may have doubts/queries because of confusing or conflicting documentation (not ur fault but may be what ur company has filed since Labor petition) or checking ur I-94 records or if there are any other complications which warrants an officer to look at the original documents (like passport/visa stamp/birth or marriage certifcate etc); personally i feel its a better approach than generating an RFE which wastes around 2 months of processing time.

I did not have an interview or an RFE for my approval. Check my earlier posting for details on my dates.

I dont think you are completely correct. Some of us got RFE and responded and then the case was transferred to Newark.

Then why the hell are you responding to this discussion. This is only for people who got there cases transferred to local due to RFE or for further evidence.
