are 140 cases transferred within service centers?

Filed for 140 at california center using a substitute labor ( all california based)

when i checked the automated message tracker, the message says that the case was transferred to Vermont service center.

The company is california based and the job is based in california while i live right now in virginia.

Why has the 140 case been transferred to Vermont service center?

any idea ?

if yes please what could be the reasons for the transfer?

If u happen to get further news on this, on why/how this has/can happen/happened....i am eager...!!
I am in VSC region, with pending I140 @ TSC with a substitute labor of TSC...!!I wonder if my case is still with TSC or moved to VSC?
 
mine is similar

mine was a substitute labor in california and filed for 140 in california.

i live in VA which is under VSC. i am really clueless why they transfered my case to vsc.

my attorney is also wondering why they have done it. attorney\'s office has been trying to get in touch with INS but they are not able to get thru to an officer.

Thats really some food for thought on why i140 was moved to vsc...

did this transfer from CSC to VSC of your I140 resulted in a new
EAC# for the VSC..? Can u find it out from your lawyer..?
 
I-140 Transfered from TSC to NSC - why?

I called TSC and the automated message said that my case has been transfered to NSC. I have lived in the TSC area the whole time, and my job is in the TSC area.

Why would TSC transfer my case?
Is this bad?
