AR – 11 form Change of address is required ?

I applied concurrently (I-140 , I –485 ) , RD : 02/11/2004 ND : 02/13/2004 , I got receipts yesterday from my attorney and he send me an letter saying
“ In order to comply with the Immigration and Nationality Act you must provide the INS with knowledge of your U.S. home address. Please fill out the AR-11 form and forward to the address on the bottom of the AR-11 form within ten days of the receipt of this letter. “

my question is I didn’t change my address after filling , so why should I send AR-11 form to INS. ?

1) AR-11 is to inform USCIS/ Dept of Homeland security only when you change your address.

2) If you file applications with one particular address and now you live in another address, you need to send AR-11 and inform USCIS by phone.

You need to talk to your attorney for clarification.. Something weired...!!!

For the past 4 years I am in the same place , after filing also I am still there , my attorney say’s I have to send it , so I did it .
