Aquistion and H1b

My company got aquired by the other company. I am on H1b, do I need to apply for the H1B Transfer?.

My Lawer told, he will prepare a letter to keep with me to prove aquisition. And told, no need for H1b Tranfer, is that true?

No need for H1 transfer. In remote cases a h1 amendment might be required (if geographical loacation, nature of job etc. change)
