April's AP hasn't got approved!

I submitted my 2nd AP application in April and haven't got approved yet(the official processing date announced by BCIS is Jun 09, 2004). I called BCIS's 800 number for inquery. A week later, they sent me a letter saying that they are now processing Jan 2004 cases. This is totally bullshit! I called them again, the stupid lady said she couldn't do anything, I have to wait for another 30 days to submit another inquery, blah, blah ...

I am wondering what else I can do? Can I go to the local office to get the AP? If so, what documents they may need?

Sorry to hear that ... another case to say that you are not alone.

My wife applied for her 2nd AP in Dec-03 and received the notice from local INS office within few weeks but nothing happned since. Interestingly , when I applied for my 3rd EAD a month ago , she received the notice again from NSC with a new notice date saying that the fee has already been collected.

I don't understand what they do at USCIS and no wonder the backlogs keep on piling.

Try to make another call, sometime you might meet a good person who will give you help.

That's the lesson I learned from my passed experience.
 
Yeah, make a call and there is a possibility that there might be RFE on your AP.

Ask your attorney to make a written request for the status of your AP.
