Thanks for posting EU numbers. Just 1800 numbers left to mine. I think it’s a safe bet to think that I will be current in June! Its getting so near now…. I cant believe how fast the numbers have moved this year. Now we are 90% of the way though the EU numbers and there is still four months to go.
Does any one know what the AF region is like? I suppose It will all be clear when the bulletin released on the net.
Interview in June so…. Fingers crossed. :-)

I reckon so. I mean the typical number of jumps this year were Well over 2000 each bulletin and there is less then 2000 number left till the final CN’S for the EU region so I reckon we will most definitely see EU current for the next bulliten. I hope my UK police cert comes though soon! Its suppose to take 40 days. I have not heard back from them so I am guessing that everything is ok and they will send it before the 40 days are up!

This is the April bulletin. It is released a month before April (in March), but it contains preliminary cut off numbers for May.
It is a bit confusing, but you will get your head around it. basically the bulletin is issued two months in advance.

Issue date: March 8th
Bulletin name: April
Advance notice of numbers for: May

Then next month:

Issue date: April 8th
Bulletin name: May
Advance notice of numbers for: June

And so on…..

Does that make sense?

that's so not fair, EU max is in 25K region and they are already upto 23K?? whereas for Asia is 16K region and so far only 10K, :(
At this rate my number will never be current, i was hoping for at least 11K for may..oh wel, maybe there are bigger holes in the number pattern for over 10K, if you know what i mean :D

On the face of it dos seem unfair, but you have to remember the DV is a numbers game.

The main reason that the EU numbers are moving so fast is simply because the EU take up of GC’s is not as high as it is for AS or AF region. So although EU is already at 23,500 the actual number of GC’S issued is probably way less then this. Typically a move to the US for economic gain is not so much of an issue for the majority of Europeans, as most European countries have fairly good well paying jobs.
Just sit tight, there is still a long way to go till sep 30th 2008.
You will be current some time in July I bet! :-)
