I realize these might sound like stupid questions, but then the Chennai consulate specifically addresses these questions. DOS does not address these questions. Any help would be appreciated. I am about to send the documents to St Louis.

Thanks. The instructions only state all questions must be answered. They dont state write "none" etc. Where do they state print back to back?

I think you are looking at Chennai or other consulates, whereas I am referring to Dept of State revalidation (http://travel.state.gov/hlop.html). Could you or others please comment again?
 
dont be lazy and refer to other posts in monthly trackers. U will find answers to all ur questions.
 
I had looked at the past three month's trackers. I could only find queries regarding when you came to the US, how to mention previous visas, how long one has stayed etc. But I do not know whether to leave other surnames blank or write none. With electronic forms, a computer could easily assume that somebody could have a name called "none". The instructions specifically mention that all questions must be answered.

Please answer if you have suggestions and try to refrain from commenting on others.
 
Cool down buddy, Here's an answer for you. I used an electronic DS156 and I used NONE in those columns. Got mine revalidated last week. Cheers. :)

Anybody pending from April?

Hi ,

anybody still pending from april? I sent mine for reval on 23rd april, and check encashed on 29th april. I have not yet received PP back. I have seen lot of aprovals from May also. ....... :mad: :( :confused:

Cashier check encashed on 04/20/04
Recd. at DC 04/21/04 (informed by them when I called them)

Still I'm also waiting.

Mine is not a bar coded one. I think that is why it is taking long. Not sure.

Fax - A Letter to Dept Of State !!

Hi Guys,
For those of you who have not received their pp(s) sent for revalidation past the stipulated time frame of 10-12 weeks (As per DOS Website), how about faxing them a letter to highlight our concern due to undue delay in revalidating our visa(s)?.

I would appreciate if one can come up with a letter(format).

Hi,

Just wondering whether any of those whose passports are still pending with DOS, belong to professions in the TAL list ?

I saw some posts where people who went to Canada/India for visa stamping have been held up due to some extra processing/clearance needed.

Is it possible that DOS in Washington also filters out some passports for extra verification ?

I got 221(g) rejection

Mine got rejected on 221(g) reason, saying "....... its not clearly approvable at this time, please go to out side US and get visa.... blah blah blah " :mad: :mad: :mad:

I have sent in april end, got back last week (17th). I think, lot of people got 221(g) on that date. I guess, they just thrown pending PPs back on that day, with out waiting for information they are expecting from back ground check or some kind of information they are looking . They do check for some 5 to 10% randomly selected applications. As they are closing on 16th july, so they flushed unfinished applications with 221(g). Thats what I am guessing. I am from India. I dont see any other reason in my case. My company got 3 approvals in last 3 months without problem.

Planning to go to Delhi or Calcutta. Chennai waiting period is very high.
