NJ filers

I see quite a number of april filers from NJ, anybody approved??? Did anybody receive 2fp?..Or anyone tried to contact senators/congressman?

case got transferred (last week) to Washington DC local office ... No information....looks like back to sqaure one....no hopes...lost all hopes.. thanks...

To all april 2002 filers

I have a few questions here

1. to all April 2002 NJ filers - did anyone try to contact senators/ congressman?. If so, how did you proceed?

2. to all - anyone in the series eac0218050*** waiting for 2fp?

3. On checking the rupnet i found that there are only 10 approvals from NJ in this month . What does this mean ? is the process going fast or slow??

RFE notice today

I checked this morning and nothing.

I checked at about 3:30pm and this was posted on my case status online:

"Receipt Number: EAC02160xxxxx

Application Type: I485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status

Current Status:

On April 2, 2004, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed. If you have questions about the notice, what is required, or if 14 days have passed and you have not received the notice, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283"

So it seems that they sent me an RFE.

So what was the theory going around on how much time after you send the RFE you recieve the holy document?

At least things are moving on my case.

Finally got GC approved for myself and my wife after long long time... :)

Hi Everyone, :)

I was in the same boat as you all are. I filed my 485 on 4th April 2002 and was waiting for approval. I got my second finger printing on 05\18\2004 at Newark and got it done same day. Finally today when i checked my online status for 485, I was surprised to see that it was approved on June 9th for both myself and my wife. I was expecting some RFE and then approval but as you all know INS, surprisingly i got it approved without any queries.

I have not received official receipt for the approval yet, as it just got approved yesterday, but should get it soon.

Thanks every one. This message board has given me lots of useful information and you all guys are great in sharing information.

Thanks again and good luck to all of you who are waiting for Approval.
 
April 2002 approved!

Hi all,
I am relieved to say that my 485 has been approved(my spouse's 485's approved the same day). All I could do is be patient and pray to God. Good luck to all.
