Congrts!!!U did it Mann!!!I am still waiting. This week there is a big layoff in my company.Dont know what to do.When you got the approved emails??Please let me know
Congratulations Mesbah! I've been following your case from some time. My I-140/485 was filed around the same time(march 22nd). I485 is pending name check at fbi. I wanted to know did you write to FBI and hear back from them. I wrote to them(several times), but haven't heard anything back.... I am wondering what more can we do to help our cases
Keep your hope alive. Find out if you're stuck in Name Check. If you are, look at the link below (I'm sure you've seen it), and start bugging the FBI. I wrote 3 letters, one to David Hardy, Hooton, and Cannon guy (the new guy). I also had my lawyer call INS and request that they approve the I-140 at least. Things seemed to move faster after I filled to renew my EAD and AP.. I dunno.
Some months i called the emergency no they told additional security check is pending. But dont know about that name check. For my wife they told name check cleared. How do u wrote to those ppl.Email??Please let me know
Follow the link i posted above about the Name Check thread. It has the mailing address for the people involved at the FBI. I wrote them and requested an expedite. Mind you, I don't even know if that's what made the difference, maybe just a coincidence.
The reasons I gave was that I haven't been home to see my family in 7 years. Even with AP, it's very hard for me to travel from a country like Egypt, because I have to get a special Letter from the embassy, and there's a 3 month waiting period for an appointment. I also mentioned how I did a FOIPA with the FBI and got back "No record", and sent 3 snail mail letters to the people I mentioned above.
I140Helppls,
To enquire with USCIS, you can either send email, or call the emergency number (I've heard it's not as helpful anymore to call). One thing you can also do, is go through your lawyer. They can do Fax inquiries as well. If it's for 140, your Employer or Lawyer have to make the inquiry, not you. Refer to this:
