Appt at Vancouver-my HIB Visa Revalidation

Hi

I Have 3 Year H1BVisa I-94 Valid till March 26.
I would like to go for my HIB Visa Revalidation

On March 9 th(I have visa stamped till March 26 2006)

On March 9 ,I Have appt at Vancouver Canada

If in case I did not get new Visa Stamp for some reason,Can I re-enter USA as I have Visa Till March 26

Please help me..

Hi bestofall,
My understanding is once you submit your paper, existing Visa will becancelled without prejudice.Will they give Visa or not is secondary?.
Existing will be cancelled.

No.

You can re-enter US if you do not apply for a visa and return with in 30 days, provided you have a valid visa/I-94
Once you apply for visa the visa officer stamp your passport with application recieved.
