Both of our applications got approved on 23rd july and on same day we were blessed with a daughter. What a great news on my daughters birthday :) .

I was a silent reader of this forum and Rupnet and it helped me a lot in understanding the legal details of immigration.

There are lot of people like me who have not registered but got approvals, so do not worry by looking at Rupnet count etc. I hope that all of you will get approvals soon.


Here are the details.


LIN-02-065-XXXX -- RD-- 12/12/2001 ND-12/17/2001
LIN-02-158-XXXX ---Dependent RD-04/01/2002 ND --04/30/2002


For me 1st FP-- 02/12/2002 2ND FP --07/09/2003 but went early on 07/01/2003 RFE -- 06/10/2003 for employment verification and birth affidavits. AD-07/23/2003 -- Blessed with daughter on same day.

Wife -- FP 12/02/2002 - AD 07/23/2003

congrats on the birth of your daughter, and on your approval. thanks for your posting, as it also hints toward one explanation of the seemingly out-of-sequence approvals that we have been observing in NSC for a while. your RD/ND is 12/2001, but your wife's is 4/2002, which saw approval along with yours. for somebody running the greenland or other script, this would show up as an approval without the "dependent" qualification. i am sure there are cases where primary cases with late RD/NDs have also been approved, but a significant share of approvals might be dependent cases attached later to earlier primary ones.

Here are my EAD Details

1ST EAD ON 01/10/2002 , 2ND EAD applied on 12/06/2002 got transfered to vermont 01/2003 . got transfered to LA Office on 02/2003 (Since I am living in LA) Got transfered back to Nebraska on 04/2003. In between this process I got interim EAD IN santa anna. I got new EAD ON 05/2003 valid till 05/2004.


I never used those EAD but was on H1 visa all the time.
