I just checked the on-line status and to my surprise it says... 'This case has been approved' !!!!

I have been waiting since Feb 1998... finally, I got the approval for both myself and my wife...

Thank you all for the great support, you have been giving... and ofcourse thanks to Rajiv for this great place...

Just be patient and hang in there, each one of you will get your turn...

BTW - my attorney mailed response to RFE on 05/02/03.

BCIS updated their system on 05/05/03....

It only took them little over a week to approve my case !!

Not in my case so far

RFE was received on 05/05/03 as per web site, no approval so far. I have seen several people approved in 1 to 2 weeks time aftre RFE is received by INS. I am not sure when my case will be approved. GOD please help.
 
Congrats...btw

why did u do your 2nd FP. Your FP is still valid (15 months) till 05/28/2003???

Sorry, my fault.., I must have not stated properly, 'cause of my exitement !!!

My RFE was recvd. by BCIS on 05/02/03 and they updated their system on 05/05/03...

Approved on 05/14/03.....

Must be because at that time I had two I-485s pending (1st one from the future employer and the 2nd one from my current employer) with the INS..., I just got the notice to do my 2nd FP...probably this was required for the 2nd I-485 I had with them !!!! I don;t know...

My case was EB-2/NJ., RFE was about;

1. why I have two I-485s -- (I had to withdraw one )!!!
2. employment verification letter from the current employer
3. three montsh pay stubs
