My company's lawyer responded to RFE (marriage cert, copy). My signature were not required. I do not know exactly when it was mailed.

You mentioned you received RFE for marriage certificate. Didn't you include
yours while filing I-485? What was the real thing they requested? My case is also
similar. Even though I have sent a copy of marriage certificate for my spouse,
they asked me to submit marriage certificate. Could you please elaborate on your
RFE?

RFE details

The RFE was raised for my 4 year old daughter. My marriage cert. was needed in her file too. The marriage cert. was surely present in my wife's file, for some reason they could not refer it there.
NSC is known to have raised such queries in the past.
