Good luck to everyone!

Hi, Linbo and others here:

I am a junior member and don't know a lot of things. Can someone tell me what all these abbreviations mean:

PD, RD, ND, FD, and RFE so that I can relate to my case.

Thank you.

Bob

here's some info,bud..

ok..here goes..(to the best of my knowledge)
AVM is Automated Voice Message System
(to check the status of ur case, etc)
PD = Priority Date (date ur application category became current)

RD= Receipt Date(date INS recd ur application)
ND = Notice Date (date INS entered ur case into their system)
(RD,ND can be obtained from ur I485 application receipt notice)

FP = Finger Printing Notice Date
RFE = Request for Evidence (INS sends a query regarding some part of ur application)

AD = Approval Date

hope this helps

cheers and good luck

Hi, Jack:
Thank you.
My RD and ND are 5/22/01
FD: 7/30/01
Both my wife and I did fingerprinting in early 8/01 (my son was not requested to do this). But my son (turns to 14 in Oct. 01') was requested to do fingerprinting in Feb. 02' and he did it in 05/02.

Havn't got any RFE or anything else yet so far.

I don't know if my son's late fingerprinting affects our PD date or AD date. Can you or anyone share your experience or thoughts ?

Thank you a lot.

Bob.
