Me & My wife both got approved. 140 got approved in sometime in Nov-Dec 2000 itself. As we had to go out of country waited until April 2001 for applying 485. Made 2 trips to India while 485 was pending. Did not apply for EAD/AP as 2nd H1 was valid until 5/2003.
Got a second FP notice in Oct 2001 which I ignored. Checked AVM 3 times before and it said "We mailed a FP notice on Oct 1, 2001 blah blah". Spoke with a customer service agent and she said FP info is not necessarily updated in the AVM.
