By the way, both (me and my wife) of our applications are approved.

My wife\'s FP was in May 2001. Initially I did not receive my FP notice. Then, I contacted senator\'s office and got the FP notice in June 2001. Million thanks to Senator\'s office and they are just great.

if passport expires a couple of months after stamping

then what happens? do you carry both new and old ppt one with
stamp and one without? We do not go to stamp new passport again,
is that right?

(1)You always carry both the passports together no matter what...
(2)As per the indian consulate, the US Visas in the old passport are valid. That means, your green card stamping in the old pp is valid.
(3)You don\'t have to go again for stamping in the new pp.
